Phenol Recovery |
|
This modular phenol recovery system treats wastewater for a US resin producer, reducing phenol concentrations to 1 ppm. It replaced a toluene extraction system. The new system employs butyl acetate for extraction, resulting in a 65% reduction of fugitive emissions and a thousand-fold reduction in phenol losses. The phenol recovery technology was developed by KMPS engineers. |
